    Stéphane CARO’s research interests include design, modeling and control of cable-driven parallel robots, conceptual design of parallel robots, robust design, kinematic analysis and synthesis, singularity analysis, sensitivity analysis, tolerance synthesis, and design optimization. He is the author of 52 papers published in international journals, 115 papers presented in international conferences, 14 contributions in books and 2 patents.

    Specific skills :
    Internet visionary, free software activist and robot evangelist. Originally from Venezuela, David attended LAAS-CNRS, a leading French robotics laboratory where he worked on several research projects. Since 2013, David is a Research Scientist at IRT Jules Verne; he works in different projects including robotics, cobotics, augmented reality, machine learning and big data, among others.

    Mission :
    Design and control of the cable-driven parallel robot; development and integration of the final prototype.

    Specific skills :
    Design of robotic systems, development of control algorithms, human-robot interaction and collaborative robotics, teleoperation systems.

    Mission :

    Design, Communication and Control architecture of mobile cable robots. Design and Implementation of new robust indoor navigation Algorithms. Task Synchronization between mobile and cable robots (Multi-Robot coordination).

    Kinematic and Dynamic modeling of cable driven parallel robots.
    Path planning for cable robots. Localization and Navigation of mobile robots using SLAM.
