    Robot parallèle à câbles mobile et collaboratif : Le projet européen FASTKIT se clôture sur de beaux


    Initié en septembre 2016 dans le cadre du projet européen ECHORD ++, le projet FASTKIT mené par l’IRT Jules Verne et le CNRS vient de s’achever, après 18 mois de recherche.

    Véritable démonstrateur opérationnel, FASTKIT est un robot parallèle à câbles mobile pensé pour répondre aux besoins émergents des industriels de disposer de solutions techniques automatisées de préparation de commandes.

    Résultat d’un an et demi de recherche, FASTKIT combine l’autonomie d’un robot mobile et les fonctionnalités d’un robot parallèle à câbles.

    Parmi les principales fonctionnalités développées dans le cadre du projet de recherche européen FASTKIT, on retrouve notamment :

    - La navigation 100 % autonome permettant la détection et l’évitement d’obstacle, - Le déploiement du robot synchronisé en temps réel, - L’efficacité des opérations de manipulation des colis.

    Les avantages procurés par FASTKIT sont multiples et répondent à de réels besoins industriels de souplesse, notamment pour les opérations de logistique dans des installations de stockage existantes :

    - Un investissement limité : FASTKIT est une solution accessible qui ne nécessite pas de travaux de génie civil ; - Une implantation facilitée : FASTKIT s’installe et se déploie facilement dans les infrastructures logistiques existantes, même dans les grands espaces ; - Une grande agilité : FASTKIT combine rapidité, agilité, flexibilité et autonomie.

    Et la suite ?

    L’équipe de recherche a d’ores et déjà identifié les actions à venir pour industrialiser le prototype et préparer sa mise sur le marché. Outre l’industrie de la logistique, cette solution unique pourra, à terme, également trouver son application dans les industries de détail, du médical ou encore de l'aéronautique. Bravo à toute l’équipe !

    Par ailleurs, les résultats concluants ouvrent sur de nouvelles perspectives de projets de recherche scientifique, dont certains sont déjà soumis à l’ANR.
